doing what you love, loving what you do.

When Aman first broke the news that he's leaving for Ireland. 3 Months. I went "Then who's gonna take my pictures?! T.T" Hehe. I'm not kidding ok, Aman plays a pivotal role in the development of my photos, from someone who usually dislikes handling the camera, he has become more involved than ever.

So now that Aman is far away, having fun frolicking on his castle-like campus grounds and roadtrips to places I've never heard of on weekends (jealousy x 1000), I have no choice but to rely on my friends. Hehe syukur alhamdulillah, my friends have been more than supportive. They've been tolerating the weather and the 101 instructions given to them. Thank you guys, you know who you are! I know its not easy being the person behind the lens, I owe you lots :)

There's lots of exciting things happening to me currently and in the near future. Amidst my crazy teaching schedule, I aim to also dedicate time to doing things I love, which to me, involves fashion and clothes. I had to make a big decision the other day, to let go or not to let go. At the time when I posted the photo, my mind was quite made up. Told myself, you have a full time job, let go of this.

But you know the feeling? You tell yourself to let go but you still find yourself thinking and thinking, wondering "what if?". Then I received a few email from some readers, inspiring me with their personal stories, nudging me to go ahead. I've never felt so thankful for such love. Thank you for taking the time to write to me, I truly appreciate it :)

That night, I did the solat istikharah. If it's good for me, for my family, for my future, may Allah show me a sign. I got my sign and I can't wait to share the good news with you when it happens :)

In the meantime, enjoy the visuals. Tomorrow's the day they launch the FashionValet x Scha Al Yahya collection, so if you love Scha's not entirely feminine yet classy style, keep a lookout. I can't stop gushing over how unique the pants+skirt is. So beautifully crafted. Can't help but love feeling like a superwoman when I walk in it hehe.
