recipe: salted caramel chocolate cupcakes & mini OOTD

My moist chocolate cupcake filled with salted caramel.
Topped with creamy cheese perfection.
Hearts marzipan to satisfy my craze of anything girly and cutesy (yes, even in baked goodies)
Drizzle of the loveliest salted caramel sauce.

Perfection, guys.
I am tearing as I recall the moment my teeth sank into this lovely concoction.
Of course, must exaggerate a bit ok. Hahahaha!


Escorted by a box of calming tea, they made the perfect Chuck Bass & Blair Waldorf.
Magnificent apart, magic together. 

HAHAHAHHAHAHA. I am seriously lol-ing to myself as I'm typing this.

I bought a litre of heavy cream so I made full use of it. 
Made two full jars of caramel sauce and I still have more than 500 ml left!



Got so annoyed coring these chocolate cupcakes! What a tedious process. My friend told me though that I can actually use an apple corer, so you can be smart and buy that first before you bake this ok!

Click the link above for the recipe & instructions ok! You MUST watch a video or look at the picture when you're making this cos there are some parts that you may not foresee something happening and then boom, it bubbles like crazy and might overspill. So yes, please look at the pictures and follow the directions CAREFULLY.

There's a very fine line (almost non existent) between burnt caramel and caramel, so you don't want to waste all that good stuff and end up with burnt caramel. Don't be disheartened though cos the first time I made it few months back, I ended up with a whole jar of burnt caramel. This time, I learnt my lesson, followed the instructions to the tee and alhamdulillah, it turned out so good.

  2. Assalamua'laikum sis ^^ is heavy cream the same as whipping cream? Cose i cant find heavy cream in NTUC and i bought the 35% fat whipping cream
